Rupp PR Curates ITB Berlin 2025 “Lives Here” Campaign

ITB Berlin is around the corner - and for those of you working in the travel industry, you know that this is an unmissable event. In 2025, ITB Berlin is continuing to build on their impressive success and solidify their role as a global leader in travel trade shows - and we at Rupp PR are supporting their marketing team. 

The Rupp PR team developed the latest campaign for ITB Berlin 2025, with dynamic visuals and strong messaging. As the agency that has been confirmed to run the ITB Berlin campaign for the second year in a row, we are so proud to present the Lives Here campaign.

Our ultimate goal was to place ITB Berlin as the home of travel - the place where all travel-related topics and experts live. We wanted to highlight how the entire travel industry gathers at this major event. The campaign would mark ITB Berlin as the place to share ideas and insights, while having meaningful conversations and developing lasting connections throughout the industry.

The “Lives Here” Graphics

We developed a mix of visuals to create sleek, appealing graphics. Using a large image area to make the visuals more impactful, we added a light mosaic shape over the top which seamlessly draws the graphics together. The mosaic pattern is flexible and easy to implement across the campaign, creating cohesiveness. It is also an extension from the shapes we used in last year’s campaign. 

We incorporated the Lives Here slogan at the bottom of the visuals to build an optical journey. The large wording of the campaign cements ITB Berlin as the place for travel and tourism. Our ultimate strategy was to create an interesting mix of visuals that represents travel on a global scale, producing familiarity and a feeling of welcomeness. 

The slogan was developed as a way to portray ITB Berlin as a leader of travel trade shows and a place for everyone to explore the travel industry. The show itself brings together a vast array of different exhibitors, speakers, industry leaders, and professionals from around the world. With a large number of travel lovers in one place, it highlights ITB Berlin as the place where the travel and tourism industry lives. This was what we wanted to communicate through our slogan, ensuring that our target audience viewed ITB as the home of travel.

The features of this campaign mesh together to create Lives Here, targeting everyone from the travel industry and inviting them to the unmissable trade show.

The “Lives Here” Slogan

Appropriately entitled the “Lives Here” campaign, it demonstrates how the world of travel lives at ITB Berlin’s trade show, highlighting ITB’s role as the home of the travel industry. The campaign uses unique visuals to pinpoint the trade show as the epicenter of travel and tourism. From hospitality, to luxury, to aviation, to technology, to sustainability, all aspects of the travel industry belong at ITB Berlin–here is where the different paths of the industry meet. 

The campaign enhances graphics from past campaigns. It uses familiar symbols from the 2024 campaign, keeping the eye-catching mosaic pattern. This creates a timeless, global feel to the campaign as it plays on the familiarity of home through its visuals. Combining the graphics with strong messaging of familiarity and openness creates a strong visual impact, highlighting ITB Berlin 2025 as the perfect event for those within the global tourism industry.
